Fifteen

This post is quite overdue...
somehow it got lost in the shuffle and never got posted.
So much for my awesome organizational skills...Oooops!
I figure better late than not at all.

Fifteen years ago I was blessed.
With a little bundle of joy.
A rather cranky one to be honest.
I'd never met a baby that cried so much.
He had colic the poor thing, and there was little to be done to soothe him.

As he grew, thankfully that passed and his demeanor changed.
He was a shy toddler...painfully so at times,
but bright like you wouldn't believe.
He read at a very early age and was always eager to learn new things.
That has not changed.

Underneath his quiet exterior is an adventurer.
He longs to learn and visit new places.
He approaches new things with subdued excitement and anticipation.
He has a happy and generous soul.
He is a loyal friend.
A hard worker.
I am proud to be his Mom.

He lives and breathes for guitar and soccer.
He has a quiet passion that you can both see and feel.

To our boy who is dedicated to whatever is at hand,
continually makes us proud and amazes us.
We love you.

Happy Birthday Indiana!

Here he is, playing one of his songs that he wrote...enjoy!

WOW! That song is good! I mean really good!!

The talent seems to run thick in your household! First a budding film maker and now an accomplished musician. I imagine that it gets rather hectic around there...but pretty awesome too!

Happy Birthday Indiana :-D
